Annual membership helps sustain the organization behind the center and keeps members connected to HJCI news and community life.

Membership FAQ

Membership and programs, clearly separated.

HJCI membership supports the cultural institute. Classes and affiliated groups manage their own participation details.

What does HJCI membership cover?

HJCI membership supports the shared community center, the organization behind it, and communication with members. Membership alone does not enroll you in a class, dojo, church, temple, or community group.

How do I join Japanese language school, Judo, karate, or another program?

Complete the HJCI membership steps that apply to you, then contact the program separately. Each program manages its own registration, schedule, requirements, and any program fees.

Can I join HJCI as a general supporter?

Yes. The application includes a “General supporter of HJCI” option for people who want to support the institute without selecting an affiliated organization.

How are membership dues submitted?

Download and complete the current PDF application, then follow the payment and submission instructions printed on the form. This website does not collect membership or payment information.

Program details can change. Contact the program directly or email info@hollywoodjci.org before registering.
